Terms and Conditions

Using Rock Bottom Stone
These terms apply to rockbottomstone.com and its marketplace and quarry tools. By using the service, you agree to these terms. You must be an adult able to enter a contract and have authority to act for any business you represent. Questions and service requests may be sent to info@rockbottomstone.com.
Accounts and acceptable use
Provide accurate information and protect your sign-in credentials. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Do not impersonate another person, upload unlawful material, interfere with the service, bypass access controls or misuse another party’s information. We may restrict access to address misuse, security risks or violations of these terms.
Quarry submissions and content
You must have permission to supply the business details, product information and images you upload. You retain your ownership and permit us to host, format and display that content as needed to operate and promote your approved listings. Drafts and applications require review before publication. Approval is not a guarantee of sales or an independent certification of every product claim.
Cart, shipping and checkout
The buying process is to add stone to your cart and build a truck, confirm shipping or pickup details, then review the total and pay at checkout when available. A cart, truck estimate or submitted request is not an accepted order, stock reservation or freight booking. Where online checkout is unavailable, the site identifies the request-based step and our team confirms the next steps. An order is accepted only when we expressly confirm it; a payment receipt alone may acknowledge payment without confirming fulfillment.
Products, pricing and delivery
Natural stone varies in color, texture, dimensions and weight. Images and samples are representative; review the stated specifications and suitability for your project. Prices, quantities, tax, shipping charges and availability must be confirmed for the order. Freight estimates and truck-capacity estimates are planning information until confirmed. Delivery depends on the agreed location, access, equipment, unloading arrangements and schedule. Tell us about site restrictions before ordering. Quarry pickup must be arranged and confirmed.
Payment timing
Your card is charged at checkout. Quarry funds are released after verified pickup of all ordered material, subject to payment and account checks. Bank deposits follow Stripe payout timing. Final delivery does not trigger another purchase charge.
Freight pricing and changes
Online flatbed freight uses full-truckload pricing even for fewer pallets. The freight price shown at checkout comes from our shipping provider and is subject to carrier availability and market conditions. If the provider requires a price adjustment, RBS will contact you for approval before proceeding. We will not automatically charge your card for a freight price increase. Partial loads and combined quarry pickups require staff review. See the Shipping Policy for scheduling, waiting, cancellation and return-freight details.
Customer unloading responsibilities
Freight delivery does not include a Moffett or forklift. For pallet deliveries, the customer must have a forklift or track loader with pallet forks at the delivery address, rated for the actual pallet weight and unloading conditions. Pallets average over 3,500 lb; mini skid steers are not sufficient. If you do not have suitable equipment, arrange delivery to a supplier or another location equipped to unload, with that location’s permission and arrangements confirmed before dispatch. Provide safe truck access and have unloading equipment and an operator ready at the agreed time. If the truck cannot unload because the customer has not provided suitable equipment or access, the customer will be charged the actual documented carrier waiting and return-delivery costs, with no RBS markup. At checkout, the customer expressly authorizes RBS to save their payment method securely with Stripe and charge these costs later for that order. These are unscheduled charges after a failed unloading attempt and receipt of carrier documentation. RBS will provide an itemized notice before charging. This authorization is limited to those costs; the final amount depends on the actual carrier charges. Return freight can cost substantially more than the outbound trip, and the original delivery price is not a cap. Additional authentication or payment arrangements may be needed if the saved method cannot be charged.
Gravel and quarry delivery
Rock Bottom Stone does not price or reserve dump trucks. Quarries delivering loose gravel must select Quarry delivery, provide the dump truck delivery fee and service ZIP codes, and obtain profile approval. The approved fee covers delivery of the order, including all required dump truck trips, to an eligible address and is included in checkout before payment. The quarry is responsible for arranging the truck, coordinating access and timing with the customer, and entering delivery details in the order dashboard before marking the order ready. A fee or checkout payment does not itself dispatch a truck. Changes to a confirmed delivery or its price require customer agreement.
Changes, cancellations and problems
Contact us promptly to request an order change or cancellation, or report a shortage, damage or incorrect item. Keep delivery records and photographs where available. Any applicable return restrictions, cancellation charges or special-order terms must be disclosed and agreed before purchase; these terms do not impose an automatic restocking fee or a blanket no-refund rule. If we cannot meet a promised shipping time, we will provide the choices required by applicable law, including consent to a delay or cancellation and a refund for unshipped goods where required.
Payments and third-party services
Use the payment methods offered for the confirmed order. Do not submit card information through contact forms or messages. Payment, identity and transportation providers may apply their own terms to their services. We do not guarantee the availability of external services or make a freight booking merely because shipping details were entered.
Service limitations and legal rights
We aim to keep the site accurate and available but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free access. Notify us of an apparent mistake; material order changes require confirmation. Nothing in these terms excludes rights, warranties, remedies or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Specific written order terms agreed with you govern that order if they conflict with general website information.
Intellectual property and changes
Rock Bottom Stone branding and site content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Do not reproduce or misuse them without permission, except as allowed by law. All rights reserved. We may update these website terms prospectively by posting a revised date; changes do not retroactively alter an accepted order without agreement or legal authority.
See our Return Policy for natural-stone variation, eligible errors and return approval requirements.
