Who we are and how to contact us
This policy describes information handled through Rock Bottom Stone at rockbottomstone.com, including marketplace browsing, quarry onboarding, customer requests and account services. Contact info@rockbottomstone.com with privacy questions or requests.
Information we collect
We collect details you provide, such as your name, email, phone number, company, quarry profile, product descriptions and photos, delivery or pickup information, messages and order details. Account services process login credentials and, if you choose Google sign-in, identity details supplied by Google. Technical records can include IP addresses, browser information, request times and security logs.
How information is used
We use pickup and delivery street addresses with the U.S. Census geocoding service to check delivery eligibility. Cached coordinates are retained for up to seven days. We use this information to operate accounts, review quarry applications, display approved listings, respond to requests, coordinate orders and delivery, send service messages, prevent misuse, troubleshoot problems and meet legal obligations. Providing a delivery address or building a cart does not itself book freight or place an order.
Service providers and public information
We share information needed to provide a requested service with relevant quarries, delivery providers and technology providers. These include hosting, email delivery through Resend, Google when you choose its sign-in or optional analytics, and payment providers such as Stripe and freight carriers when those services are used. Payment details are handled through Stripe; RBS does not store your card number. With your checkout authorization, Stripe saves the payment method for documented waiting and return-delivery charges for that order. RBS retains the authorization wording, acceptance times, delivery address and Stripe transaction references. Do not send card details in messages. Approved quarry profiles and listings, including the contact details selected for publication, are public. Private account and draft information is restricted to authorized users and staff.
Cookies and analytics
Essential cookies and browser storage support login, security, carts and preferences. Optional Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement run only after you allow them, to measure website use and advertising performance. Advertising personalization is disabled. You can change that choice using Measurement preferences on this Privacy Policy page. Browser controls can remove or block cookies, although some features may stop working.
Retention and security
We keep information as needed for the purposes described here, account administration, transaction records, dispute resolution and applicable legal requirements. We use access controls and other safeguards, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. Service providers may process data in the United States or other locations where they operate.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, close your account, or exercise other rights available under applicable law by emailing info@rockbottomstone.com. We may verify your identity and retain records where required or permitted by law. Declining optional analytics does not prevent ordinary use of the marketplace. Service messages needed for an active request or account may still be sent.
Children and updates
This service is intended for adults and business users, not children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information. We will post policy updates here with a revised effective date and provide additional notice where required. External websites have their own privacy practices.
